Protective Force's Story:

Founded by Eugene Jacobs in 1989, Protective Force has become a national organisation with specialised divisions. Its origins can be traced back to when Eugene, as a teenager, began patrolling the streets of Brackenhurst on his bicycle at night to help with Neighborhood Watch. He negotiated with local men to do their shifts for a fee and rented his father's vehicle to protect the community. This marked the start of Protective Force, and Eugene's bravery and vision continue to inspire all employees today.

Eugene realised the importance of Psira check certification early in his career and, with his unwavering energy and determination, he ventured into home alarm system installations. As a one-man business, he positioned his base station in a Wendy house at his parents' home and his mother managed the station while he was at school. When an alarm went off, she would page him and he would find a way to attend to the situation.

With the Psira certification, the business grew rapidly and Eugene became a trusted figure in the community. Over the years, he established a guarding division and acquired three smaller security companies to merge with Protective Force Security .
